    Shenzhen Vivolight Medical Device & Technology Co., Ltd.,jointly founded by Xi'an Institute of Optical PrecisionInstruments of the Chinese Academy of Science and severalwell-known venture capitals from Shenzhen and Xian, is one of thefirst high-tech enterprises specialized in optical coherencetomography (OCT) system research and development, manufacture andservice.The company was established in August 2012. The R&D team, whichwas from OCT Imaging Laboratory of Tsinghua University, is thefirst team working on OCT technology research in China. The coreteam has more than five years of experience in OCT research, andhas developed the China's first frequency domain three-dimensionalOCT (3D-OCT) for ophthalmological clinical diagnosis in 2008. In2010, they developed a hand-held OCT equipment, which was the firstone applied in ophthalmic operation test globally, in cooperationwith Tianjin Chasowa Electronic. We are featured with OCTtechnologies and have independently developed a number of coretechnologies and components for OCT applications, ranging fromclinical ophthalmophy, medical endoscopy, industrial examination,to scientific research. The product lines include ophthalmic OCTsystem, endoscopic OCT system, projection vein finder system andsuper micron endoscopic imaging system.Vivolight has a long-term cooperation with many universities,institutes and industrial companies both domestically andinternationally. In 2012 and 2013, it has been established asMaster of engineering practice base for Tsinghua University, jointtraining base for Harbin Institute of Technology and ShenzhenGraduate School, and master practice base for The University ofHong Kong. In addition, the company and Xi 'an Institute ofOptical Precision Machinery of the Chinese academy of science havejointly established the OCT and biological medical imagingengineering center.
