Incorporated in 1976 the Group has progressed from being largest exporter of flannel fabrics in the world as a trading company to being recognized as one of the leading manufacturers of denim fabrics and garments. The Group has an annual export volume in excess of US $30 million. The Group has a network of offices in Pakistan Bangladesh Turkey U. A. E and U. S. A. Leading and prominent buyers from all over the world including Canada USA and Europe constitute the S. M. Groups global clientele. AutomationS. M. Group is a technology-driven enterprise with a strong focus on automation. The in-house team of IT Specialists plan design implement evaluate and control all ERP applications The Group is in the process of integrating various business processes to ensure a consistent flow of data across all its functional departments. Mr Irfan Merchant Garments Director the youngest brother runs the entire garment division successfully with the help of a highly competent team. New addition to the top brass of the company is Mr Asif Merchant son of Mr Farrokh Merchant who is managing the entire Denim Division under the expert guidance of Mr Shaheen Merchant and Operations of Garment Division.
