What started out as a fledgling manufacturing unit for various kinds of Battery Vent caps in 1994 is today a success story that other commercial units find truly inspiring. Begun as a small venture by Mr. SS Jaiswal, it is today transformed into a vibrant multi dimensional entity that handles a range of product lines and provides employment to a sizeable number. SMJ Venture Private Limited presently, has a wide footprint not just within the country but also across international boundaries.When the company achieved the distinct leadership position in the field of battery vent caps, Mr. Jaiswal was confident that his enterprise and the capable team was competent to handle further challenges in a roadmap to continued success. After successfully handling the initial foray into battery vent caps and a range of Battery Accessories, the management team decided that it was the right time to expand the product portfolio.It was identified that Camphor had a great potential as the next product line for the company, primarily because there was a dearth of organized manufacturers in this field. The demand for camphor was huge from all over India and yet there was a credible lack of quality apparent in the marketplace. Within a short span of time Maayasdeep the brand launched by SMJ is today one of the leading players not just in India but also in foreign shores for Camphor Tablets. As is well known that success begets success the company felt that further expansion was the right route to take.Next came two expansions one of which was Micro welding under the brand name "Renewed" which was greatly in demand as there was no dependable solution available for consumers here. The second was a complementary diversification to Camphor, which was in the field of Incense sticks. With a team of experts Maayasdeep- incense sticks was launched in mid 2013 which soon attained a niche amongst consumers all over. Today they manufacture and sell over 2 dozen exciting fragrances created at their in-house Fragrance Lab.Meanwhile the company also started manufacture and selling of a plastic airtight container project called "Ceraplast". These were containers in demand because it kept food fresh for a longer period of time, was dishwasher safe and could be used in a Microwave Ovens too. With his vision and virtue Mr. SS Jaiswal has been able to steer the company and has firmly established the SMJ name on the commercial map of Bengal. Today a wide range of consumers know that any product that bears the SMJ and Maayasdeep brand tags represents real value for money. Under the able leadership of Chairman Mr. Jaiswal the entire team is geared not just for challenges ahead but have learnt the art of staying ahead in the march by following a roadmap of excellence.
