Sound Learning Systems was established to distribute high quality sound therapy systems in Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia.Listening is what you do with what you hear. Good listening provides a critical platform for learning, performance and self-esteem in young children. 20% children find learning difficult, another 20% under-perform - most listen poorly. YES, bright kids and adults can also have an auditory learning difficulty.Healthy self-regulation, processing and motor skills require a mature well- integrated nervous system. Early ear infections, congestion, anxiety, stress or difficult birth can disrupt this system. Our holistic assessments can identify the foundational causes of your deficits.Our integrated sensory programs can help to normalise the way your child collects, processes and uses information. Each year we treat hundreds of children, train dozens of professionals and work with teachers in the Canberra region to help your children reach their potential.The younger we see your child, the easier it is to correct the foundations of their learning because adaptability (brain plasticity) declines with age. Assessing very carefully, we offer gentle drug-free programs.
