Company Introduction
South Sea Exclusive is an aquaculture company, specialized in the sustainable breeding and farming of tropical spiny lobsters (Panulirus ornatus, Panulirus versicolor, Panulirus longipes), in the Philippines. Our lobsters are provided a varied diet consisting of good quality, live food, containing no heavy metals. Therefore, our spiny lobsters are of premium quality and taste delicious. Our spiny lobsters are destinded for the live spiny lobster market in Asia.Besides live spiny lobsters, we also cultivate live abalones (Haliotes asinina). They are provided qood quality seaweed and therefore of good quality and taste. Our live abalones are destined for the live abalone market in Asia.South Sea Exclusive strives after the conservation of the spiny lobsters by setting up a spiny lobster release program. 5% of our cultivated, mature spiny lobsters will be put back in the ocean in special designated Marine Protected Areas (MPA's). Therefore SSE works together with different provincial governments in the Philippines.Five percent of our gained revenues will be used for the SSE Foundation. The foundation is focussed on environmental education, distribution of microcredit for local environmentally sustainable projects and mangrove reforestation.
