Summit Medical is a private corporation founded in 1982 as Micromedics, Inc. with a vision of developing & marketing innovative surgical products. The company began operations manufacturing tympanostomy tubes after purchasing this product line from 3M. The company has 4 distinct product groups. Implants & instruments for ENT surgery (vent tubes, nasal splints, blades, absorbent, etc.). Instru-Safe Instrument Organization & Protection Products. EarPopper personnel devices for relieving middle ear preasure. Santa Barbra Medco ENT Surgical and over the counter consumer products. Summit Medical works closely with surgeons, nurses and allied healthcare professionals to develop unique, patented products that improve surgical outcomes and make delivery of healthcare more efficient. Our products are manufactured and packaged in-house using Quality systems that are certified to meet the requirements of ISO9001, EN46001 and ISO13485 as well as the US FDA cGMP. In addition to manufacturing our own products, we develop and manufacture products under private label for other medical device companies, (OEM). Summit Medical products are sold by a worldwide network of independent specialty distributors. The company supports its products and distributors with a complete marketing program that includes product literature, trade show attendance, journal advertising, direct mail, fax and digital marketing.
