Company Introduction
We have 5 showrooms in Mauritius and 1 in Australia.  We arethe second biggest furniture retailer in MauritiusTFP has its root back to 1951 where the late Mr. Ismael Maharaulleeestablished his furniture business in Port-Louis. Within years, Mr.Ismael opened two additional showrooms, in Port Louis and RoseHill. In June 2007, an official ceremony was carried out for hiscontribution for the welfare of his region andachievements. In 1979, Mr. Mustapha Maharaullee who is of the second generation,set up his first official showroom of TFP at Eau Coulee, which wasthen known as Multi-Collection. Being a graduate in FurnitureDesign and Manufacturing at the University of South BankPolytechnic and London School of Furniture in England as well as acertified member of the Institude of Wood science, he launched hisown factory at Wootun lane, Eau Coulee in 1980. Since then, TFPstarted to expand rapidly and in 1995, TFP became the firstMauritian company to open a factory branch in SouthAfrica. In 2004, the third generation took over the management of thecompany. Since then, TFP has evolved into one of the major playerswithin the retailing business. It has diversified its range ofproducts to include Electrical Appliances, Flooring, SanitaryWares, and many more. With this new strategy, TFP has become a onestop shop with 5 retail outlets situated in strategic locationsthroughout the island. In 2014, TFP opened its first sofa showroom in Melbourne, Australia(http://thefurniturepeople.com.au)Â
