    Top Hat Bar opened it's doors on December 1, 1941. Six days later, on December 7, 1941 the Japanese Imperial Army Air Force attacked Pearl Harbor and other military based on Oahu, Hawaii. Top Hat bar is located just outside of Schofield Barracks Hawaii. During the attack Top Hat Bar was straffed and bombed by a Japanese Aircraft during two passed. The bar was damaged and the New Neon Sign that had just been delivered by ship was totally distroyed. One customer was killed as he ran from the building. Top Hat then closed it's doors for 30 days and reopened never having been closed for a single day until Feb., 28, 2009, when we closed the doors and transferred the flag to our comfortable new location in Wahiawa's original business district. We still provide the oldest traditional Aloha spirited entertainment for locals and men and women of the military as we had done for thousands of Soldiers, Marines and Sailors preparing for deployment throughout the world. We are connsidered the absolute model of the American Small Town Bar "Where friends meet".
