Universal Steel Discs (P) Limited, (USD) is established in the year1965 & engaged in the activity of manufacturing and export ofagricultural Discs implements, machinery and spares along withforging work over the last many years. It has employed about 400workers & 50 professionals for the activities such asmanufacturing, marketing, quality control & the team is workingin a cohesive manner under the overall leadership of Mr. PremParkash Katyal, Chairman. Each department is handled by theexperts/professionals/departmental team..We would like to introduce ourselves as one of the largestmanufacturers of tillage discs blades in Asia having turnover 20million USD Annually. The company has five manufacturing units inKarnal in the covered area of 4 Lacs Sq Ft of land. The unit isequipped with state of art machinery and using latest technologyfor manufacturing of discs of different specifications and sizes,which fit into most of the major international and Indianagricultural machinery. Presently, we are manufacturing around 350types of Discs of various sizes i.e. all sizes ranging form 12inches (304.8mm) to 30ââ inches (762mm) in diameter and 2.5 mm to12 mm in thickness, Discs blades are manufactured by cross rollingprocess from high carbon steel & rolled billets of grade SAE1070, SAE 1080, Chrome Manganese steel & Boron Steel. Ourproduct has cutting edged in technology due to top quality materialused & backed by strong research & development by theprofessionals. Disc blades made out of cross rolled sheets arestronger, tougher & have much lesser wear & tear so it haslonger field life & also perform more efficiently in thefield.We have at present the capacity of manufacturing around 2.0Millions pieces of Disc Blades, 15000 complete implements, 1.2Millions Rotavator Blades & forging of around 2500 MT ofmaterial, P.A. Besides Manufacturing, we have also trading activityof Spare parts of Harrow Discs, Cultivator, and Ploughs.Our unithas been assessed, for performance & credit rating based on theguidelines as approved by the Government of India, Ministry ofM.S.M.E. through N.S.I.C. & as approved by the Indian BankAssociation & is classified as SE 2A, i.e. âHIGH PERFORMANCECAPABILITY & HIGH FINANCIAL STRENGTHâ by ONICRA, a performance& credit Rating Agency.
