Usha Martin commenced operations as a steel wire&wire rope manufacturing company in 1960. Over the last 45 years, from a small annual capacity of 3600 metric tons(MT)it has now reached an annual capacity of more than 125,000 MT in its wire and wire rope plants in India, Thailand, Dubai and UK and 360,000 MT of wire rods and billets at Jamshedpur, India.The company&＃39;s manufacturing facilities in India are located at Ranchi and Jamshedpur. Apart from these locations, Usha Martin has plants located in UK, Dubai&Thailand. The distribution centres are spread across India, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia&USA.Usha Martin is the scond largest producer of steel wire ropes in the world and one of the largest Integrated Wire Products manufacturing companies in South Esat Asia.
