Company Introduction
Formerly Wenzhou Timber Center under Zhejiang Bureau of Forestry, Wenzhou Timber Group is a key State owned enterprise in Wenzhou, founded in May, 1991. It&＃39;s the largest timber trade and processing center in South Zhejiang, with the honorable titles of "Top 50 Timber Enterprise in China", "Largest Scale Industrial Enterprise in Zhejiang" in 1996, and "AAA Credit Enterprise" for many a times. Located in the west side of Oujiang River, in Wenzhou, one of the beautiful and open cities in South Zhejiang, the Company has a land area of over 300, 000 sqm, and over 1000 staff. It has 17 subsidiary companies and 2 large scaled wholesale markets (namely, The Timber Center and the Timber and Shoe Wrehouse). With an annual turnover of 790 million RMB, the Group has been named a key enterprise with advanced technology and scale by the Wenzou City Council. Among its 17 products, its key products are Greenstar plywood, rubber and plastic panels, timber glue, veneer board, engineered flooring, timber furniture, insole paper board, chemical board shaping panel, printing paper, adhesives, etc. The company is also a main importer and wholesale center of timber and log from the Southeast Asian countries, Africa, America, Europe and Canada, etc, with an annual sales of over 100, 000 cubic meters. In recent years, the Group&＃39;s main focus has been on timber sales plus diversified products and developments. Its strong growth has been eight of its subsidiary companies transformed into shareholding companies successfully. This is the milestone for the Group&＃39;s overall reform.
