    "WoodSaver" pencils are fine quality writing instruments, made mainly from natural minerals (gypsum and talc). They also contain recycled materials. Therefore these woodless pencils are environmentally friendly. They help to preserve the environment, our forests and the ecological balance. Because these pencils are made mainly from natural minerals, "WoodSaver" pencils are biodegradable and can be used with standard sharpeners and erasers. How are these "new technology" pencils made Using patented Swiss technology, our pencils without wood are made using a unique co-extrusion process that does not use any wood products. NO Trees are cut down for the manufacturing process Woodsaver pencils are made from certified non-toxic compounds with a strong bond between the outer sheath and inner core. This results in less breakage, hence they are safe for children, and for people who chew on pencils. Our product range includes both black HB and colour pencils. There is no lead content in our woodless pencils - the "lead" is a graphite and polymer blend. These pencils can be used with standard sharpeners and erasers. Frees up "Plantation Tree" wood for more DURABLE products. Contains about 18% recycled materials.
