Company Introduction
Agrarco LLC is an agricultural company, which produces and exports hazelnut and fresh apples in Azerbaijan. It has been incorporated as a result of amalgamation of three agricultural companies and is acting as their legal successor since March 2017. The consolidated annual turnover of Agrarco is nearly 20 million US dollars. In hazelnut industry, the company holds two hazelnut-cracking factories, one hazelnut-processing plant and more than 2000 hectares its own hazelnut orchards. We also manage hazelnut supply chain by local farmers mostly from Zagatala region, the home of premium hazelnut sort "Atababa". This sort contains 100% of our production and exports. "Atababa" sort is well known among confectionery companies for its unique taste, high fat percentage and minimum remaining skin while roasting or blanching. This sort has a long traditional history of cultivation, as well as Azerbaijan hazelnut sector itself. As it is known, Azerbaijan started hazelnut cultivation in 1880-s and now have nearly 150 years of experience in this field. Agrarco LLC exports hazelnut to countries like, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Russian Federation. Annual export volume is approximately 2000 tons of hazelnut (kernel basis). Our hazelnut product range contains from raw kernel to final product - hazelnut paste.In apple industry, the company has more than 200 hectares of apple orchards, where Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Red Delicious, Braeburn, Crimson Crisp, Fuji sorts are cultivating. All these orchards are young and crop increases year by year. Our apple exports 100% based on crop coming from our own orchards and annual volume is 4500 tones. The main export channel of fresh apples is to Russian Federation. In near future, it is planned to open market for our fresh apples in Middle East and North Africa, too. The continuous growth in both cultivation and export is the main streamline of corporate strategy. For this purpose, we expand our hazelnut and apple orchards each year.Agrarco LLC holds ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Certificate, by Swiss Accreditation. We also provide our clients with customer reference list on request.
