HortTech created them by carrying out tissue cultures of over a hundred-year-old wild ginseng found in Mt. Odae with sophisticated bioengineering technology, sponsored by Biogreen Project of Ministry of Science and Technology, Korea Science and Engineering Foundation and Rural Development Administration.
