Vivid colors that shine on the products show the beauty ofKorea.*Lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearlLacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl has historically been used by royal families as it is known to bring harmony in family, promotion in career, generosity and abundance in wealth. The reason for the fame is that it is made with pearls from the deep sea and the wood from tall mountains, so the harmony of yin and yang from the deep seaand the high mountain is well reflected in the product. The two main ingredients to make lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl are varnishing and mother-of-pearl.Korean mother-of-pearl is famous for its vivid colors and the shell of abalone, called colored shell, is the near sea of Tongyoung.As for lacquer, lacquer extract comes from lacquer trees in Wonju.
