Irkustkneftegaz is one of the fastest growing Russian oil and gas company and is among the top ten privately-owned oil and gas companies in Russia and in terms of crude oil and gas production. The company was formed in 1999 as a result of uniting several medium and small oil companies in the east-west, southern region of Siberia and Ural regions of the Russian federation. Irkustkneftegaz is one of the largest independent oil and gas producers in the whole Siberia and Ural regions with current production capacity of 85,000 barrels per day. The Company holds 21 subsoil licenses, of which 15 are production licenses and 6 are combined licenses for geological survey, exploration and production of hydrocarbons. Other licenses are held through various joint ventures with internal and foreign investment companies.Irkustkneftegaz is an independent oil and gas company with a diversified upstream and downstream portfolio in Russia .The company s upstream operations are located primarily in West Siberia (Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts, Tyumen Region), East Siberia (Irkutsk Region), and Volga-Urals (Orenburg Region). The independent audit conducted by McNaughton confirmed that as of 31 December 2010 Irkustkneftegaz Total Proved Reserves amounted to 1.1 billion barrels of oil equivalent. And a substantial gas production of 6.5 million cubic meters per day, and a valued gas reserve of estimated 25 billion cubic meters.Under SEC methodology on a life of field (LOF) basis, Irkustkneftegaz Total Proved Reserves were 685 million barrels of oil equivalent. Irkustkneftegaz controls 75 thousand bbl/day in installed refining capacity, with principal refining assets located in Saratov (Volga-Urals), Nizhnevartovsk (West Siberia).Irkustkneftegaz operates a retail network of close to 207 filling stations in Russia working under the brand Irkustkneftegaz. The company is one of the key suppliers to the Siberia/Ural-central region retail market.
