Great strides have been made in improving the health of people the world over by governments' supporting of health food study. Today while westernized eating pattern increases consumption of high-energy food, it decreases fiber consumption of Korean and most of Asian: daily average consumption of fiber is 17 ~ 18g for adult and 10g for youth. However, the comprehensive recommended fiber consumption for Korean and Asian is 20~25g per day. Low fiber meals usually increase the consumption of cholesterol and sugar, but high fiber meal increases the consumption of insoluble fat and various nutritious.
