Novamont manufactures and sells various lines of biopolymers for a variety of manufacturing processes, all with the Mater-Bi trademark. Mater-Bi comes from renewable raw materials such as non-genetically modified starch from maize, potatoes and other starchy crops. The material is available in granular form with different formulations and / or grades. All of the Mater-Bi grades are certified biodegradable and compostable in accordance with the international regulations (EN 13432, ASTM 6400, UNI 10785, EN14995)
