"Svetlogorsk Production Association "KHIMVOLOKNO" is the Belarussian unitary enterprise with a forty-year experience. It's one of the largest enterprises of petrochemical branch which specializes in producing a wide range of artificial fibres, filaments and nonwoven materials as well.It's also a manufacturer of nonwoven 100% polypropylene thermobonded material of Spunbond (trademark SPUNBEL) and 100% polypropylene hydrobonded material of the new generation (trademark AQUASPUN).Our enterprise has been producing nonwoven materials of "spunbond" technology for more than 15 years. At the beginning of this year the enterprise put into exploitation the modern unique equipment "Reicofil 4" (Germany) for producing nonwovens.Technology "Reicofil 4" allows to manufacture the high-quality thermobonded material, and the hydrosystem of the German company "Fleissner" allows to produce a 100% polypropylene nonwoven material AQUASPUN which possesses unique properties. Unlike classical nonwovens, it has special breaking strength, softness and high indicators of tactile comfort close on the effect to natural cotton due to preliminary thermofixation of the cloth on calender and the subsequent additional hydrobonding in constuction unit AquaJet Spunlace. High hydrophilic and absorbing properties are provided by the application of additives.
